Blue Blood Audio was founded by Mario de Arce. He started his career in his hometown of Madrid, Spain where he helped out in recording sessions for his famous sister. He soon realized he wanted to advance his audio recording studies and decided to move to the US to do so. He attended Center for the Media Arts in NYC and Full Sail Center for the Recording Arts in FL. He graduated at the top of his class in both schools and was chosen to receive the Special recording engineer honor certificate of his Full Sail class.
After graduation he moved to NYC, where he landed a job as an engineer at a famous jingle house. He worked there for two years at which point he knocked on Sony Music Studios door and he was invited to join the team. At Sony he had the pleasure of working and learning from top engineers such as Bruce Sweden, Tony Maserati, Ken Lewis and Warren Riker . After two great years at Sony, Mario purchased a large Pro Tools system and decided to start his freelancing career. His first break came from Wyclef Jean, who offered him to work on two albums he was producing at The Hit Factory. The word spread fast and Mario became the Pro Tools engineer of choice for major labels as well as top recording studios.
In 2002 Mario moved to L.A. and kept expanding his knowledge in different areas of the audio business, including acoustic design, Home A/V design, installation and wiring.
Twenty years after he started his career in Spain, Mario keeps very busy designing, engineering and working on upcoming studio and home entertainment designs.
